STS Solutions and Training, LLC is looking for an IT Support Specialist to assist 502d Civil Engineer Squadron (CES) Programs on-site at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA), TX.

What You'll Do:

• Assist government personnel with hardware and software requirements
• Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications
• Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.)
• Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (mapping drivers, printers etc.)
• Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications
• Assess, inventory and track equipment
• Support SharePoint initiatives to include configuring web page, office client integration, and content management
• Evaluate and report discrepancies identified in NexGen systems

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• Knowledge of a comprehensive range of IT System principles, concepts, and practices is required.
• Knowledge of network administration and security practices for government facilities is required.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and Access) is required.
• Ability to successfully pass a federal agency background check is required, Secret Clearance is required.
• Possession of a Security+ Certification is required
• An adjudicated National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI), Common Access Card (CAC) preferred, within the last two (2) years as well as Air Force experience preferred.
• Motivated, outgoing, self-starters requested.
