Key Responsibilities
Core Functions
User Support:

Troubleshoot hardware/software issues (laptops, VPN, SaaS tools) for onsite/remote staff.
Set up workstations for new hires (e.g., July arrivals: Ira, Christian Kim).
System Maintenance:
Monitor network security, apply patches, and manage backups (Microsoft 365/Azure).
Maintain asset inventory (laptops, peripherals, licenses).
Security & Compliance:
Enforce cybersecurity protocols (e.g., MFA, phishing prevention).
Support compliance for grant-funded roles (e.g., Serena’s People Inc. requirements).

Strategic Projects
Optimize remote-work infrastructure (addressing needs like Bilal’s fully remote request).

Assist in migrating legacy systems to cloud platforms.

Research AI tool integrations for IT automation.

Qualifications Required
Pursuing/completed degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.

Basic knowledge of:
Windows/macOS environments
Microsoft 365 Suite (Teams, SharePoint)
Network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.

Preferred
1+ IT internships or helpdesk experience.

Certifications: CompTIA A+, Security+, or Microsoft Fundamentals.
