We are seeking a Systems Support Analyst responsible for facility IT support that impacts Distribution Center operations, with collaboration and detailed communication with various teams as well as Production Managers and Supervisors using current and future automated equipment.
Job Title: Systems Support Analyst – Spokane, WA
Responsibilities
- Perform periodic maintenance on printers and warehouse-based equipment
- Provide first level IT support on field equipment per issued local IT tickets
- Support the IT Asset Manager with onsite tracking and audits of distributed IT equipment
- Utilize and update the IT system for job tracking and monitoring
- Support approximately 1000 pieces of IT equipment, including networking, radio equipment, PCs, RF devices, and printers
- Ensure facility communication monitors are updated
- Provide support for or participate in 6 Sigma Projects and RIWs at local and network levels
- Build and image PC and RF equipment per Caterpillar specifications for new equipment issues or replacement programs
- Design, script, test, and debug platforms of varying complexity
- Work independently to evaluate hardware or system changes and their impact
- Be knowledgeable of and capable to perform most infrastructure changes without close management
- Improve deployment and support processes
Required Qualifications
- Candidates will be trained on Caterpillar IT policies and procedures; however, an understanding of computing hardware and software environments, system integration processes, system administration, and networking is expected
- Ability to work independently
- Strong troubleshooting skills and solution identification
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
- Professional communication
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work at elevated heights (up to 40 feet with proper safety PPE)
Highly Desired Qualifications
- A relevant degree or equivalent IT experience (candidates pursuing further IT education will be considered)
- Programming/development experience
- Certifications such as A+, Network+, Security+, PowerBI and/or Microsoft
- Degree in IT-related field (earned or pursuing)
- Knowledgeable of infrastructure components
Additional Information
- First Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm
- Pay range: $22.90/hour - $29.60/hour
