Overview

The IT Support Analyst will provide hands-on technical support and maintenance of computer systems, hardware, and software for an investment bank with approximately 15 employees. The role focuses on ensuring that all team members receive reliable IT support, maintaining the stability and security of the company2s technology infrastructure, and assisting with day-to-day technical issues to keep operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first- and second-level technical support to end users (on-site).
• Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
• Support operating systems, applications, and security updates.
• Set up and maintain user accounts, email, and access permissions.
• Document incidents, resolutions, and procedures for future reference.
• Assist with server, networking, and system administration tasks under IT team guidance.
• Manage and track IT equipment inventory.
• Provide user training and support for new technologies and software tools.
• Escalate complex problems to senior IT staff when necessary.

Job Requirements

• Associate or Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of proven experience in IT support or a related technical assistance role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and/or macOS environments.
• Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS).
• Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365, and enterprise applications.
• SQL knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work both independently and collaboratively.
