Overview

STAND 8 Technology Consulting is seeking a skilled IT Helpdesk Support Contractor to provide first- and second-level technical support at our North American facility. In this hands-on role, you'll troubleshoot desktop, mobile, and network issues, support A/V operations during on-site events, and deliver top-tier service for all end users.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hardware/software support for Windows PCs, iPhones, and iPads.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity, printer installs, and system issues.
  • Manage user accounts, passwords, and access per IT security policies.
  • Support A/V setups for meetings and on-site events as needed.
  • Maintain IT inventory and track assets using management tools.
  • Deploy images, configure systems, and ensure end-user readiness.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex technical issues.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of IT helpdesk or desktop support experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10, Office 365, VPNs, and mobile device management (iOS).
  • Familiar with imaging, remote support tools, and ticketing systems.
  • Excellent communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred

  • A+ or MCSE certification.
  • Experience with A/V support and conference room setups.
  • Familiarity with Apple MacOS is a plus. Technical degree or equivalent training (CTS certification desired).

Additional Details

The base range for this contract position is $40.00-$45.00 per hour, depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. This posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires across all US locations. Individual pay is based on work location and factors including job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered.
