Job Summary/Company:

Sparks Group has partnered with a national professional organization in the healthcare field to hire a Technical Support Specialist. This full-time, entry-level position serves as the first line of technical support for staff, providing prompt troubleshooting and resolution for hardware, software, and application issues. The ideal candidate will have foundational knowledge of networking, Microsoft 365, and cloud-based endpoint management systems such as Microsoft Intune, along with strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-tier troubleshooting and resolution for technical issues, both in person and remotely.
  • Support staff using Windows and Apple devices, including hardware, software, and applications.
  • Accurately log and maintain helpdesk tickets with clear documentation, following established response times.
  • Assign tickets or escalate issues to other IT teams as appropriate.
  • Deploy and configure new hardware using Microsoft Intune or other cloud-based endpoint management tools.
  • Maintain an inventory of hardware and software issued to staff.
  • Provide technical support for VOIP phone systems and SaaS applications.
  • Conduct IT onboarding for new hires, including setup and orientation.
  • Assist with technology needs for meetings and events.
  • Perform daily system monitoring and basic maintenance tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of IT support experience, preferably in a helpdesk or technical support role.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365, basic networking concepts, and troubleshooting principles.
  • Familiarity with both Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune or other cloud-based endpoint management systems preferred.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and escalate issues appropriately.

This job is In-Person.

Pay Range: Hourly $25.00 to $27.00
