What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide remote technical support for IT-related issues, including computers, network, and peripherals
- Manage IT service incidents and requests, ensuring timely resolution and accurate documentation
- Communicate effectively with users of varying technical expertise to diagnose and resolve problems
- Collaborate with other IT teams for escalations and problem resolution
- Conduct regular software and access audits to ensure compliance and security
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience and certifications
- Minimum of 3 years of IT Service Desk experience
- Strong knowledge of network management and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems
- Experience supporting a Citrix environment and familiarity with Azure Active Directory
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, CCNA/CCDA, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)
- Experience with writing technical documentation
- Familiarity with two-factor authentication tools like Duo
- Experience with identity management solutions such as Okta
- Knowledge of VPN services and remote access software
