Description

ESC has an exciting opportunity for an IT Procurement Specialist to support our premier healthcare client's IT Technology Supply Chain team. The role starts as a 3-month contract opportunity, working fully remote in CST hours.

Responsibilities:

• Receive tickets via ServiceNow and create, coordinate, and process IT equipment and supply quotes, orders (i.e. create template/requisitions to generate purchase orders), and track deliveries with designated IT vendors
• Submit appropriate invoices for payment processing, receiving ordered items and documenting receipt as such.
• Understand service levels (order fulfillment, delivery, etc.) and their relationships to IT vendor/reseller pricing.
• Identify and mitigate billing issues by working directly with IT vendors and finance teams. Interface with accounts payable to support procure to pay process for IT purchases by approving invoices and entering goods receipts.

Required Experience:

• High school diploma and a minimum of 2+ years' experience in procurement support.
• Understanding of requisition processes, purchase order (PO) creation, invoice review, and vendor coordination for IT equipment and supplies.
• Proficient in MS-Office Suite, ServiceNow, Workday or similar systems used to manage IT service tickets and procurement workflows.
• Accuracy in data entry and documentation of orders, receipts, and invoice approvals.
• Able to identify billing discrepancies, resolve procurement delays, and collaborate across teams to ensure timely fulfillment.
