Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Temporary IT Support Technician to assist our team with day-to-day IT operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, setting up workstations, and supporting users across various departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and configure new computers and peripherals.
- Provide support for Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues including laptops, desktops, and printers.
- Install and configure business applications and drivers.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of IT equipment.
- Understand and support basic networking concepts including IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
- Utilize ticketing systems (e.g., Jira) to manage and track support requests.
- Communicate effectively with users to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- 1-2 years of experience in IT support or a related role.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Degree or certification in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and basic networking principles.

- Knowledge of IT asset management practices.
