Base pay range

$120,000.00/yr - $135,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for installing, patching, upgrading, configuring, and maintaining Oracle E-Business Suite 12i and Oracle databases (11g/12c/19c) to ensure system stability, performance, and security.
  • Support Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC), Data Guard, and disaster recovery procedures for high availability and business continuity.
  • Provide support for third-party applications such as Vertex, Noetix, and I Scramble, ensuring optimal integration.
  • Administer Oracle ERP applications, including Financials, Supply Chain, and HR/Payroll, to ensure optimal performance.
  • Support OBIEE implementation and manage systems in Unix/Linux and Windows environments.
  • Utilize UNIX shell scripting, Oracle ASM/RAC databases, and support third-party tools (GRC, Hyperion, Apex, Excel4apps).
  • Use Oracle Enterprise Manager and other monitoring tools (Grafana, Zabbix, ServiceNow) to monitor availability and performance of Oracle EBS applications and databases.
  • Perform database upgrades from Oracle 11g/12c to 19c with minimal downtime; implement and maintain OID (Oracle Internet Directory) and OAM (Oracle Access Manager) for identity, authentication, and authorization for Oracle applications.
  • Analyze and resolve performance issues across the Oracle EBS application, concurrent managers, and database tiers; provide 24x7 Level 2 support for business-critical applications.
  • Manage database space, perform capacity planning, cloning, backup/restore, and patching.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or foreign equivalent.
  • 5 years of related experience.
  • Strong knowledge in Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle databases, RAC, Data Guard, OBIEE, and operating in Unix/Linux and Windows environments.
  • Experience with Oracle ASM/RAC, Oracle Internet Directory (OID), Oracle Access Manager (OAM); familiarity with GRC, Hyperion, Apex, and Excel4apps.
  • Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager and monitoring tools (Grafana, Zabbix, ServiceNow).
  • Ability to perform database upgrades to 19c and manage system performance, with 24x7 support responsibilities.
  • Proactive problem solving, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Work arrangement

2-3 days of remote work are allowed. Must live within normal commuting distance of Chicago, IL.
