CleanJoule Inc. is a venture funded, sustainable aviation fuel development company based out of Salt Lake City, Utah. Our novel, one-of-a kind technology allows us to harness energy from biomass and convert it to superior performance aviation fuel.

Job Summary:
The Systems Administrator will be responsible for assisting in the operations and maintenance of the day-to-day computer system needs of CleanJoule. The Systems Administrator will provide technical support and assistance to resolve problems with the organization’s computer systems. This position will protect critical systems, assets, develop secure solutions, implement new software and hardware, provide training, and automate processes to drive organizational success.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for internal IT support through email, chat, or our helpdesk ticketing system
- Assist with setting up and troubleshooting hardware including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
- Support software installation, updates, and basic configuration for Windows and Microsoft Office products
- Help maintain and organize IT inventory including tracking equipment issued to staff
- Assist in user account creation, password resets, and basic permission updates
- Escalate unresolved issues to senior IT personnel when necessary
- Maintain documentation of IT procedures and troubleshooting steps
- Provide friendly and professional customer service to internal teams
- Participate in IT onboarding for new employees including computer setup and orientation
- Assist in maintaining clean and organized workspaces and IT storage areas
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned to support the team
Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or currently pursuing), (Preferred but not required)
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) are a plus but not required
- Hands on experience
- Basic understanding of computer hardware and software
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office suite
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment
- Problem-solver that is eager to help out
- Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs, climb stairs, and perform tasks requiring physical effort
- Comfortable working onsite and collaborating with team members in person

Physical Demands:
Frequent lifting and moving of items up to fifty (50) pounds, bending, reaching above shoulder level, climbing stairs, pulling, prolonged standing or sitting may be required. Must have safe work habits and perform all duties in accordance with company safety policies and practices.
