Kimley-Horn is seeking a Project Accountant to join our Sacramento, California office. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly financial analysis and revenue recognition
• Collaborate with Project Managers across disciplines
• Meet critical monthly deadlines
• Ensure accurate billing transactions in MIS system
• Prepare invoices and handle monthly billing
• Manage and review contracts
• Coordinate receivables collection
• Travel to other regional offices as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals
• Professionalism and excellent interpersonal skills
• Team player mentality
• Proficiency in Excel and Word
• Experience with computerized accounting systems

Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000
