Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closing procedures.
• Prepare, review, and interpret financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Participate in external audits as well as budgeting and forecasting cycles.
• Contribute to enhancements in internal controls and efficiency initiatives.
• Offer support and guidance to junior members of the accounting staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• 3–6 years of progressive accounting experience (combination of public accounting and corporate preferred).
• Solid knowledge of GAAP and the month-end close process.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ERP system experience strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• CPA license or progress toward CPA designation is highly desirable.
