Attention all Dental Assistants! We invite you to partner with us in providing dental exams, treatment, and X-rays for our Military Service members.
Our work primarily occurs on weekends, with occasional weekdays, in the State of Iowa, on an "as needed" basis.
We deliver health readiness services to support the medical and dental requirements for maintaining a deployable military force, including:
- U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
- Army National Guard (ARNG)
- U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
- U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
- U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
- Air National Guard (ANG)
- U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)
Responsibilities:
- Providing dental services in a mobile environment.
- Taking Digital X-Rays (BW & PANO).
- Sterilizing instruments.
Requirements:
- Active Dental Assistant Certification in the state (CDA, RDA, EDDA, EFDA).
- Active Radiology Certification.
- CPR/BLS Certification.
- Comfortable with 4-handed chair-side assisting.
- Experience with sterilization.
- Experience with basic administrative functions.
- Experience working with the military is preferred.
- Proficient with computer programs.
- Weekend availability is required.
