Position: Packaging Mechanic
Location: Canton, OH
A Packaging Mechanic maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs packaging machinery to ensure efficient and safe production. Responsibilities include minimizing downtime, performing preventative maintenance, and optimizing machine performance. Key duties involve installing, maintaining, and repairing various packaging equipment such as bottling, filling, and sealing machinery. The role also requires performing changeovers, troubleshooting mechanical and basic electrical systems, and utilizing hand and power tools.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair packaging equipment, including mechanical and pneumatic systems.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues.
- Implement preventative maintenance procedures.
- Adhere to safety regulations and best practices.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
- Identify and resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
