The Director of Human Resources will lead the organization’s people strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals, compliance standards, and a culture of excellence. This position plays a critical role in shaping the employee experience and overseeing the full spectrum of human resources functions, including employee engagement, benefits administration, compliance, payroll oversight, and talent development. The successful candidate will bring strong leadership, operational insight, and a data-informed mindset to support a high-performing, service-driven workforce. Primary Responsibilities
Design and execute comprehensive HR strategies and policies that reflect the company’s mission and future growth trajectory. Oversee employee relations initiatives, with a focus on maintaining a collaborative, respectful, and performance-oriented work environment. Lead compensation and benefit program design to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity. Ensure all HR operations remain in full compliance with applicable labor laws and regulatory standards. Partner with senior leadership to implement talent management strategies including leadership development, succession planning, and performance systems. Drive continuous improvement in HR systems and processes through the effective use of technology and best practices. Serve as a strategic partner and communication bridge between staff and executive leadership. Track and analyze workforce data to provide actionable insights and recommend policy or practice changes. Additional Duties
Participate in organizational initiatives and other duties as assigned by leadership. Team Leadership
This role will provide leadership and direction to the Human Resources team and support the development of HR staff. Minimum Qualifications
At least 10 years of progressive HR experience, including several years in a senior leadership capacity. Former Healthcare Industry experience strongly preferred. Proven ability to lead independently in a fast-paced, complex environment. Strong mentoring and coaching skills, with experience developing HR talent. In-depth knowledge of federal and Georgia state labor laws, HR operations, and employee lifecycle management. Technologically proficient with HRIS and business software platforms. Strong analytical thinking and problem-resolution capabilities. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline required; Master’s preferred. SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred. Valid driver’s license required. Professional Standards and Values
Demonstrates ethical integrity and discretion in handling sensitive or confidential matters. Committed to continuous professional development and the advancement of best practices in HR. Understands and supports the unique challenges and values of working in a healthcare service environment. Models professionalism and leadership, both on and off duty, in support of the company’s values and reputation. Familiar with internal policies and procedures related to the responsibilities of this role. Compensation and Benefits: · Competitive base salary up to $150 K + 10% performance-based bonus · Group health insurance, dental, and vision coverage · 401(k) with a 3% employer match · Generous paid time off
