Your Impact
The primary purpose of this role is to oversee the comprehensive range of base salary, variable compensation, and incentive compensation programs for retail stores, distribution centers, and corporate employees. This ensures our compensation offerings remain competitive within the market. Key responsibilities include defining metrics, creating plan documents, collaborating with accounting on forecasting and accruals, communicating plan details, and performing pay calculations. This position is pivotal as it provides essential guidance and advice impacting employee engagement, retention, and the long-term success of Lowe's. What You Will Do
Collaborate with HR Business Partners and business leaders to design and implement competitive compensation programs that promote internal equity and align compensation with performance. Build strong partnerships with HR and business leaders to understand business needs and deliver tailored compensation solutions. Offer innovative solutions to streamline compensation programs and enhance efficiency. Establish governance controls and guidelines to maintain consistency and data integrity across compensation structures. Provide strategic recommendations for complex compensation challenges to support business objectives. Lead significant projects and initiatives while overseeing the contributions of other team members. Utilize best practices and insights to navigate and resolve business issues effectively. Analyze various data sources to inform decisions and exercise prudence in judgments. Interpret intricate and sensitive information with clarity and professionalism. Ensure the effective and timely implementation of compensation programs, adhering to budgets and legal requirements. Mentorship of junior team members by sharing knowledge and expertise to address business challenges. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis, or a related field and 5-7 years of experience in Compensation within a retail corporate environment. Experience in handling confidential information with discretion. Proven experience in training and mentoring team members. Preferred Skills/Education
Master's Degree in Business, Human Resources, Accounting, or a related field with 5-7 years of experience in a compensation setting. Experience in a managerial role within a team-oriented environment. Possession of the Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation. About Lowe's
