The primary purpose of this role is to manage the day-to-day operations of Lowe's workforce management programs. This includes financial planning for a multi-billion dollar expense, creating store organizational designs to support strategic efforts, and managing WFM software applications to ensure optimal staffing across 1,700+ stores, delivering excellent customer experiences. The successful candidate will be a creative thinker with a bias toward action and strong collaboration skills. This role requires a self-starter with analytical and problem-solving abilities. What You Will Do Recommend opportunities for expense control and labor optimization to inform workforce management decisions. Deliver insights to stakeholders on high-impact projects, preparing executive presentation materials with actionable recommendations. Lead cross-functional teams to implement strategic workforce management programs, optimizing scheduling, employee self-service, timekeeping, absenteeism, analytics, and labor scheduling. Serve as a subject-matter expert in workforce management, incorporating industry trends to shape future capabilities. Navigate the organization independently to represent workforce management needs and collaborate on financial and technological solutions. Manage major projects related to store design, scalability, productivity initiatives, and validation of business cases. Analyze labor allocation using statistical models and field input to develop recommendations for leadership. Act as liaison for staffing, IT, and WFM software vendors, driving technology advancements. Track and resolve technical issues, using analytical skills to identify opportunities and implement solutions, acting as the go-to expert for workforce management scenarios.

Required Qualifications

High School diploma or GED. 3 years of experience in workforce management or planning in retail. 2 years of experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint or similar tools.

Preferred Skills/Education

Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or related field. Master's in Business Administration or related field. 2 years of experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). 1 year of SQL experience for data querying. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Creative problem-solving and quick learning ability. Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
