As a Full Time Grocery Lead at Brookhaven Market, you will assist the Grocery Manager by overseeing the daily operations of the grocery department, ensuring that shelves are attractively stocked and organized. Your leadership will empower the grocery team through effective training, scheduling, and ongoing support. You'll monitor product quality and pricing, collaborating with vendors to maintain accurate inventory levels and timely deliveries. Additionally, you'll assist with inventory controls, conduct regular stock audits, and ensure compliance with safety and food standards. In this hands-on role, you will address customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally while implementing promotions and seasonal displays to boost sales. Collaboration with other departments is key to ensuring seamless store operations and enhancing overall customer satisfaction. A solid understanding of grocery store operations, including inventory control, pricing strategies, and food safety regulations, is vital for maintaining high standards. Knowledge and skills required for the position are: Proven experience in a retail or grocery store role. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Knowledge of grocery store operations, including inventory control, pricing, and food safety. Ability to analyze sales data and develop strategies to improve department performance. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Ability to walk and stand the duration of scheduled shift and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
