Senior Core Directorate PM Support
position to support a government customer at Ft. Detrick. This position is contingent upon contract award. Incumbents are encouraged to apply! The salary range ( or hiring range ) for this exempt position is
$105,000 - $119,000 . This range reflects the company's good faith estimate of the potential compensation at posting. Benefits include holidays, paid time off, health, dental, and vision insurance, life and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, and a 401K with company match. The position remains open until filled or withdrawn. Job Summary
The employee will support tasks within the Core Support Directorate, including divisions such as the Division of Medicine, Pathology Division, Regulated Research Administration Division, and Veterinary Medicine Division. Proficiency in Excel, MS Project, and the ability to work independently, lead teams, multitask, assist in training, and communicate effectively are required. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Research Proposal Support:
Assist PIs in preparing and reviewing research proposals, verify completeness of PRC packets, resolve issues, and track submissions. Research Agreement Support:
Ensure completeness of agreement packets, support routing for approval, and maintain knowledge of processes. Budget Estimates and Service Rate Calculations:
Track staffing, assist with financial reporting, and support budget and rate calculations. Tracking Project Schedule and Performance:
Consolidate and review project metrics, identify issues, and develop mitigation strategies. Monthly Budget Execution:
Monitor budget reports, assess spend plans, assist PIs, and manage equipment and funds. Project Change Requests (CR):
Track CR submissions, ensure quality, and manage requests according to rules. Data, Document, and Manuscript Support:
Provide quality control, compile data, support DURC reviews, and monitor report due dates. Training and Mentorship:
Train new or current PMs, support other directorates, and contribute to institute efforts. Project Execution:
Coordinate with stakeholders, track tasks, and facilitate project completion. Meetings and Reporting:
Participate in leadership and research meetings, provide updates, and support reporting. Technical Support:
Assist with reports, proposals, manuscripts, and travel for conferences or meetings. On average, facilitate annual project execution of approximately $10-15M and oversee a portfolio of $20-$30M.
