The Opportunity
We are seeking a full-time Senior Project Manager to join our Los Angeles team. Responsibilities include proposing new products and plans, reconfiguring existing products, partnering with the Project Coordinator to manage orders, scheduling, punch list resolution, and developing strong relationships with client representatives. The Project Manager will also collaborate with Business Developers to secure new business and serve as a trainer for new PMs.
Position Responsibilities
Collaborate with Business Developers to secure new business
Develop proposals and bid responses
Interface with clients and design firms
Specify products and develop system and furniture specifications
Conduct field site assessments
Maintain gross profit percentages and dollar amounts within established ranges
Audit product specifications and pricing provided by others
Obtain necessary drawing sign-offs
Coordinate installation schedules with Project Coordinator and clients
Oversee installation and conduct punch list walkthroughs with clients and architects
Inform Project Coordinator of punch list items
Maintain product knowledge and installation methods expertise
Review status reports and communicate proactively with clients and designers
Lead account management once secured
Position Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree
Experience: Minimum of 10 years in a similar role, with at least 1 year experience with Knoll and Herman Miller products highly preferred
Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat
Knowledge of AutoCAD, CAP 20/20, and CORE highly desirable
Internet proficiency
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong numeric reasoning skills

Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and meet deadlines
