Barclays . US Broker Dealer Regulatory Reporting is part of the Financial Control function within the Americas Finance umbrella, supporting all businesses within BCI. The team is responsible for ensuring the US Broker Dealer entity satisfies various financial responsibility rules set out by SEC/FINRA/CFTC/CME, such as customer protection, capital requirements, and regulatory filings. This team also interprets broker dealer rules and regulations, providing guidance on transactions/products with customer protection, net capital, and regulatory implications. The Regulatory Reporting Director will support the head of Regulatory Reporting, overseeing critical functions like the monthly FOCUS report and 15c3-1 Net Capital computation. The role involves managing regulatory transformation initiatives, including the implementation of new regulations, and ensuring processes are sustainable and compliant with relevant rules and regulations. The ideal candidate is a motivated leader with process improvement skills and the ability to oversee complex processes. This position covers extensive US Broker-Dealer financial reporting and interacts with various business functions such as Operations, Finance, Risk, Treasury, Compliance, and Legal. Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications

Experience in SEC/FINRA Broker Dealer Regulatory Reporting, including 15c3-1 Net Capital and FOCUS reporting. Understanding of broker dealer operational records and settlement mechanics. Leadership experience and ability to manage a team. Independent task execution, issue escalation, and stakeholder communication skills. Attention to detail and ability to present to senior management and regulators. Desirable Skills/Preferred Qualifications

Experience with other regulatory reports like 15c3-3 customer reserves or CFTC segregation requirements. Strong analytical skills and proficiency with spreadsheets and problem-solving. Ability to build relationships across teams and with senior management. Purpose of the role

To identify, assess, and mitigate regulatory reporting risks, oversee compliance, and maintain communication with regulators to ensure adherence to laws and internal policies. Accountabilities

Assess and develop strategies to mitigate prudential regulatory reporting risks. Evaluate and improve internal controls and governance frameworks. Prepare and submit regulatory reports and support other departments. Analyze regulatory data for insights and decision-making. Develop training programs on regulatory requirements. Communicate with regulators and represent the bank in meetings. Manage regulatory reporting systems and collaborate with IT for system integration. Director Expectations

Lead strategic initiatives, manage teams or projects, and influence policy. Mentor and coach team members, and provide expert advice to senior management. Manage resources, budgets, and policies for the sub-function. Ensure compliance and monitor external regulatory environment. Exercise decision-making authority and influence stakeholders. Represent the function externally as a spokesperson.
