Taft is currently seeking a
Knowledge & Research Analyst
to join our Knowledge and Research Services Department in one of the following locations:
Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Detroit, Denver, Indianapolis, or Minneapolis . Taft Stettinius & Hollister is seeking a full-time Knowledge & Research Analyst with
3+ years of library experience
to join our department. This position is based in one of the specified office locations and offers a
hybrid work model , requiring three days per week on-site. All employees operate under a “Client First” philosophy, aiming to provide exceptional client services. Responsibilities include: Conducting in-depth legal and business research and competitive intelligence in a fast-paced environment. Synthesizing complex research into clear, concise deliverables. Contributing to strategic planning, outreach, and policy development within the department. Attending department or practice group meetings periodically. Developing and delivering training and orientation for attorneys and paralegals. Assisting with administrative tasks such as collection development, product review, and cataloging. Managing deadlines and prioritizing projects independently. Requirements: Master's degree in Library & Information Science (MLS or MLIS) from an accredited program. At least three years of library reference experience; law firm or corporate experience is highly preferred. Experience researching legal and business resources (Westlaw, Lexis, Bloomberg Law, etc.) is strongly preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management software.
