Corporate Controller Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end close process for multiple entities—ensure accuracy, timeliness and consistency.

  • Develop and enforce policies and automated workflows to streamline intercompany transactions.
  • Plan and coordinate year-end audits with external auditors; prepare schedules, support fieldwork and drive remediation of findings.
  • Maintain strong internal controls, identify SOX/compliance gaps and partner with Finance & IT to close them out.
  • Design, document and roll out standardized accounting policies, procedures and month-end checklists across all properties.
  • Automate manual tasks where possible and continuously seek efficiencies in reporting and reconciliations.
  • Mentor and coach regional Accounting Leads and their teams on close processes, technical accounting and system best practices.
  • Collaborate with Finance, IT, Revenue Management and Operations to ensure alignment on data flows, system enhancements and reporting needs.

Corporate Controller Requirements
