The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience and will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in our short-term acute care facility, which operates 7 days a week.Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate and treat patients with varying medical diagnoses and conditions.Work with moderate to maximum assistance patients and co-treat when necessary.Manage ventilated patients and be flexible in taking on additional evaluations throughout the day.Adhere to medication administration and patient safety standards established by the facility.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop optimal patient care plans.QualificationsCurrent Physical Therapy License in the state of Arizona - Required.BLS certification from the American Heart Association - Required.Experience with Cerner charting system preferred.Ability to float to surrounding clinics and work with various patient populations.Experience managing patients with conditions such as COPD, CHF, orthopedic injuries, and post-surgical rehabilitation is preferred.Work EnvironmentThis facility includes:Type: Short-Term Acute CareTotal Staffed Beds: 87Charting System: CernerFree Parking AvailableAdditional InformationGuaranteed 40 hours per week, with an allowance for call-offs throughout a 13-week assignment.
