Director of Recruitment & Business Development
Key Responsibilities
- Employee Onboarding
- Design, implement, and continuously improve the onboarding process for new hires.
- Ensure a smooth transition for new employees, including orientation, training coordination, and documentation.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to tailor onboarding to departmental needs.
- Manage and deliver engaging onboarding sessions and materials.
- Track onboarding milestones and gather feedback to improve processes.
- Labor Law Compliance
- Stay updated on local, state, and federal labor laws and ensure HR practices comply.
- Develop and maintain HR policies and employee handbooks aligned with legal standards.
- Conduct regular audits of HR processes to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Serve as the point of contact for labor law questions and internal policy interpretations.
- Liaise with legal counsel when necessary to address compliance issues or disputes.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in HR, with at least 2 years in onboarding or compliance roles.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in HR software (e.g., Workday, BambooHR, SAP SuccessFactors).
- SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or PHR/SPHR certification is a plus
