Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring at least 1-2 years of circulating experience and BLS certification.Job Details•Position is based in a hospital operating room with 13 ORs and 1 procedure/cysto room,•Patient caseload averages 45 surgical cases per day,•Variety of cases include orthopedic, spine, general, colon, breast, podiatry, urology, robotic, GYN, and plastics,•36 hour shift option available with 7a-7p shifts,•Mandatory rotation for 1-2 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule; weekend day and night coverage required based on staffing,•Holiday coverage is assigned on a call rotation and required for travelers,•No floating required,•Uses Epic EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, and Phillips monitors,Job Requirements•Active RN license required,•Current BLS certification is required,•A minimum of 1-2 years of recent OR circulating experience is mandatory,•Experience circulating in cases including orthopedic, cardiothoracic, vascular, general, urology, robotic, GYN, colon, breast, spine, podiatry, and plastics is required,•Experience using Epic EMR is necessary,•Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility,Additional Information•Main responsibilities include circulating for a wide range of surgical procedures in a busy hospital OR setting,•Support team includes OR assistants for room turnovers, patient positioning, and supply management, as well as anesthesia staff, charge nurse, and receptionist,•2 days of departmental orientation is provided in addition to standard facility orientation,•Scrubs are provided and parking is free,•First-time travelers are welcome for this assignment,),•hash,:• ,
