Travel Nursing Job Details Job Title: Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) Location: Moses Lake, WA 98837 (Washington nursing jobs) Healthcare Setting: LDRP Unit (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment Start Date: September 15, 2025 End Date: December 15, 2025 Contract Duration: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Shift: 12-Hour Day Shifts Estimated Weekly Salary: $2410 - $2580 L&D RN Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Registered Nurse) Active Washington State RN license (WA RN licensure required) Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience; Labor & Delivery nursing experience preferred Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification for healthcare providers (AHA or equivalent, required within 30 days of hire) NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required prior to end of orientation STABLE course completion within 6 months of orientation OB ALS online course within 6 months of L&D training AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring course within 3 months of L&D training RN-C in specialty preferred L&D Registered Nurse Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum phases Conduct patient assessments, collect data, and document care in compliance with healthcare policies and regulatory standards Develop and implement individualized care plans and patient education Delegate and supervise patient care activities to support staff and caregivers Demonstrate strong organizational, critical thinking, and crisis management skills in a clinical setting Maintain ongoing professional development and adhere to patient safety protocols Serve as Charge Nurse as needed, coordinating patient assignments, admissions, discharges, and staff coverage Ensure compliance with hospital policies and uphold the highest standards of patient care in the L&D unit Discover the natural beauty and vibrant healthcare community of Moses Lake, WA, while making a meaningful impact as a travel L&D Registered Nurse.
