American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a day shift assignment, requiring 2 years of critical care experience and active or pending Oregon RN license.Job Details•Position is in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital,•Traveler will cover both ICU and Med/Surg floors for meal breaks as part of the schedule,•Day shift with three 12-hour shifts per week, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM,•Floating to different units as needed may be required,•Epic EMR experience is required with at least 1 year of recent use,Job Requirements•Active RN license in Oregon or proof of application for Oregon RN license is required,•Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience required,•Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS,•Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (booster not required),•Experience documenting in Epic EMR within the last year required,•Travelers with more than one DUI will not be considered,•Prior employees of this health system must have at least a one-year break before returning as a traveler,•Local candidates living within 60 miles are not accepted,Additional Information•Main responsibilities include providing nursing care to critically ill adult patients and assisting with coverage of meal breaks on the Med/Surg floor,•First-time travelers are welcome to apply,•Some holiday work may be required,•Return staff must have separated from the health system for at least one year,•No modules are required prior to starting,•RTO requests are limited to 3 days for auto consideration and must be submitted prior to contract acceptance,),•hash,:• ,
