Position Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in civil and water/wastewater construction. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all phases of project delivery-from preconstruction through closeout-ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of civil and water/wastewater projects.
- Manage project budgets, contracts, change orders, and cost controls.
- Coordinate field operations, subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental requirements, and company standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, engineers, and project stakeholders.
- Oversee project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, schedules, and progress reports.
- Mentor and support project engineers, assistant project managers, and field staff.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
- Foster strong client relationships to support repeat business opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 5+ years of project management experience in civil infrastructure and/or water/wastewater construction.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale self-perform and subcontractor-driven projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and best practices.
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Procore, MS Project, or similar).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
