Position Overview: The Staff Accountant will utilize tools, systems, and processes to deliver accurate reports within specified timeframes. Responsibilities include assisting with financial statements and tax returns. The role requires good communication skills and effective teamwork to ensure high-quality client deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements, bank reconciliations, adjusting journal entries, and tax returns (individual, business, payroll), ensuring accuracy and identifying concerns.
• Assist clients with QuickBooks troubleshooting, entries, and training.
• Develop and maintain client relationships, recognizing additional service opportunities.
• Support firm initiatives, stay updated on industry issues and legislative changes, and monitor workflow and deadlines.
• Maintain regular attendance.

Qualifications:

• Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• 0-3 years of experience in public accounting or related field.
• Working toward CPA certification.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles.
• Experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality client service.
• Strong work ethic and interpersonal skills.
