We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our growing finance team! Dahl Consulting is currently partnering with a leading distribution company. • Worksite Location: St. Louis Park, MN
• Contract to Hire
• Compensation: $32-42/hr DOE

What you'll do as the Staff Accountant:

• Prepare and post journal entries for daily and month-end accounting activities
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
• Perform account reconciliations and maintain supporting documentation
• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash reconciliations
• Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and accounting standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data
• Assist with annual audits and provide necessary documentation as needed

What you'll bring to the Staff Accountant role:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2-5+ years of relevant accounting experience
• NetSuite experience is Required, Strong Excel
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
