We are seeking an experienced and passionate Executive Director to lead our team and ensure that our residents receive the highest standard of care.
Key ResponsibilitiesPersonal Care: Provide daily assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, eating, toileting, and mobility.
Medication Support: Assist with and monitor medication administration in accordance with facility policy and state regulations.
Companionship & Engagement: Build genuine connections with residents by offering companionship, encouragement, and opportunities for intergenerational interaction.
Activity Participation: Support residents in specialized therapies, social activities, recreational events, and wellness programs designed to enrich quality of life.
Health Monitoring: Observe and promptly report changes in residents’ physical, mental, or emotional well-being to nursing staff or management.
Household Support: Assist with housekeeping, laundry, meal service, and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment.
Collaboration: Work closely with nurses, caregivers, therapists, and community staff to deliver integrated, resident-centered care.
Emergency Readiness: Respond effectively to emergencies by following established safety protocols and procedures.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; caregiver or CNA/HHA training preferred.
Experience: Prior caregiving experience in an assisted living, long-term care, or community setting preferred. Experience with intergenerational or specialized care populations is a plus.
Certifications: CPR and First Aid required or willingness to obtain. CNA, HHA, or related credentials strongly preferred.
Skills: Compassionate, patient, and adaptable with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical Ability: Capable of lifting, bending, standing, and assisting residents with mobility.
Compliance: Must pass state-mandated background checks and meet all ALF caregiver requirements.
