Job Summary

W e a re seeking a skilled and proactive Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the safety, functionality, and overall upkeep of our company facilities. This role includes performing and coordinating routine and preventive maintenance across a wide range of systems, including structural, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and more. When no facility-specific work orders are pending, the technician may assist with broader maintenance duties.

Job Description

Monitor and maintain building infrastructure, including siding, structural columns, roofing, flooring, and plumbing systems. Support electrical and lighting systems (including conduit and wiring for 24VAC/DC, 120V, 240V, and 277V; individuals with additional experience may work on 480V systems). Conduct weekly roof walks for visual inspection and minor equipment checks (no repair work). Coordinate all roofing repairs through third-party vendors. Access roofs primarily via ladders or stairs. Work near roof edges is not typical (less than 6 feet from edge), and technicians will not be exposed to unguarded elevated platforms. Work will always be done with a buddy system. Maintain and monitor parking lot conditions and building exterior, including landscaping and grounds through contractor coordination. Coordinate and assist with office fire alarm systems, annual fire system testing, and inspections. Support upkeep of EPACS system hardware and Banbury elevator/lift systems. Ensure compliance with annual insurance inspections and fire chief visits. Conduct or assist with lighting maintenance using ladders, scissor lifts, and articulating lifts (typically under 30 feet in height). Oversee janitorial service vendors and office furniture upkeep requests. Coordinate regular inspections and maintenance of office elevators. Liaise with third-party vendors as needed for specialized repair or maintenance. Assist with small parcel and freight logistics when needed. Ensure that all maintenance and related tasks are performed safely and in compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. First shift, 7am to 3pm, Some mandatory overtime and holiday work Skills Required

Prior experience in general facilities maintenance or a related field Working knowledge of electrical systems (24VAC/DC, 120V, 240V, 277V), basic plumbing, and general building infrastructure Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and safety protocols Strong organizational and communication skills; capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities Comfortable working indoors and outdoors, sometimes in physically demanding environments or at heights (up to ~30 feet) Must be comfortable using ladders and lifts; no confined space work is required Familiarity with OSHA, Fall Protection, and Electrical Safety protocols is a plus Related certifications (OSHA 10/30, Fall Protection, Electrical Safety, etc.) are preferred but not required Employer will provide training or re-training as needed to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards Education

High School Diploma or GED Pay rate

$25 per hour and higher depending on experience
