Reach Truck Operator
Location: Tempe, AZ Shift: Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM We are seeking a skilled Material Handler to support our Aquaculture Business by handling picking tasks in our outbound shipping or production areas. The Material Handler will be integral to ensuring accurate and efficient movement of parts as per Sales Orders and Production Tickets. Responsibilities
Operate a reach truck to move parts and orders. Transfer orders in the inventory system using SAP. Read production tickets, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. Count, weigh, measure, or examine packaging and contents for conformance to company packing specifications. Prepare invoices, dates of shipment, bills of lading, and list weight and serial numbers of items sold, along with shipping labels. Identify quality issues and follow proper notification processes. Accurately complete material movements in the MRP system and move items to predetermined delivery areas. Perform light assembly work. Complete other duties or assignments as assigned by the manager. Essential Skills
2+ years of experience with reach truck and forklift operations. Proficiency in material handling, RF scanner usage, and SAP ERP/MRP systems. Intermediate computer skills and familiarity with inventory, loading, and warehouse operations. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Forklift certification and ability to pass testing for Reach Truck, Stock Picker, and Propane. Ability to read Sales Order and Shipping documents. Proficiency in reading measuring tools such as scales, tape measures, and calculators. Flexibility and teamwork capabilities. Basic math skills. Understanding of WMS systems including picking, putaway, and material movements. Prior experience with RF scanners. Ability to lift 50+ lbs. Why Work Here?
