Apply specialist knowledge of contract lifecycle management to set and drive a service-management-centric strategy for ECC contracts; ensure consistent guidance is followed by contract managers per business, Risk Management, Independence, and Office of General Counsel requirements Contribute to ECC goals by developing and executing tactical plans that improve client service, create incremental client value, achieve cost savings, and enable process re-engineering Direct or contribute on multiple projects and initiatives requiring advanced contract management knowledge and negotiation skills; make independent decisions on high-risk, complex matters; identify process improvements and drive innovations that add client value and efficiency Interface with partners and senior client leaders to champion ECC value and establish credibility as a trusted advisor Provide advice and recommendations to improve client service based on understanding of client needs; assess and mitigate risks, provide insights on intellectual property protection, and guide leadership on key terms Coach, mentor, and share knowledge with junior staff; manage and review work products; plan short-term needs and resource deployment; may have people management responsibility for a mid-sized to small team Qualifications
Minimum ten years of recent experience in contract management, procurement, and/or deal desk leadership of complex contracts; experience managing a contract management team, preferably in professional services (Federal, SLG or commercial contracting) Bachelor’s degree; master’s degree preferred Ability to manage multiple programs and advocate for leading contract lifecycle management practices; strong understanding of legal matters Exceptional verbal and written communication, collaboration, negotiation, and influencing skills; ability to motivate others and allocate resources effectively Certified in Contract Management (NCMA) preferred Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future Salary & Benefits KPMG complies with applicable laws and provides a comprehensive compensation and benefits package. Salary ranges are displayed where required by location. California Salary Range: $155,000 - $311,000.
