Under the direction of the President; create and maintain a book of business by soliciting, developing, marketing, and selling new and renewal business in accordance with applicable state insurance regulations for all commercial insurance product lines; work closely with the Account Executives, Account Managers, and Client Service Specialists to handle your clients’ needs. Responsibilities
Develop a network of prospects by various methods including but not limited to cold calling, referrals, industry and special interest groups, in addition to actively prospecting new business opportunities by similar methods Provide efficient, professional, courteous service to clients in conjunction with Account Executives, Account Managers and Claims Consultants Work closely with service teams to review carrier proposals, analyze market summaries, and prepare renewal documents ensuring timeframes and deliverables are met Maintain existing book and current client relationships Stay informed of industry trends including carrier appetites and relationships, and manage expectations with clients Conduct risk management audits in conjunction with a client team; ensure timeframes and deliverables are met in the sales process; transition new accounts to the client team seamlessly Achieve annual sales goal at or above agency standards Qualifications Must have experience in a revenue-generating role selling all lines of commercial insurance coverage within the retail insurance brokerage industry. Property & Casualty Insurance License Required. Valid Drivers License Required. Seniority level
