Job Purpose The Magnum Ice Cream Company is seeking a dynamic and innovative Brand Manager to lead the development of an innovation funnel for both the Club customer and Out-of-Home channel (Value, Drug, and Convenience) sectors. This role will involve assessing the fit of our current portfolio, including iconic brands such as Popsicle, Klondike, Good Humor, Magnum, Talenti, and Yasso, and identifying new ideas to drive growth and consumer engagement. Key responsibilities include: Innovation Funnel Development: Club channel is $1B in sales with TMICC having 4% share, this role will focus on growing share and bringing the Club scope to $50MM of incremental sales through the years. Out of Home channel represents over 152K stores, this channel is expected to grow 2.5% through 2029. This role would focus on identifying which core products have opportunity for more distribution plus new innovation ideas, the opportunity could land at over $120MM of additional sales. Together with CMI and Cat Man and this manager would be responsible for developing proposition geared towards OOH; adopting studies and insights on potential growth and gaps; review previous year's performance Develop and manage a robust innovation funnel tailored for the Club customer. Create and implement an innovation funnel for Out-of-Home channel, focusing on value, drug, and convenience sectors. Portfolio Assessment: Evaluate the current portfolio of brands (Popsicle, Klondike, Good Humor, Magnum, Talenti, Yasso) to ensure alignment with market needs and opportunities. Identify gaps and opportunities within the existing portfolio to drive innovation. Idea Generation: Identify and develop new product ideas for both the club and out-of-home channels. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring new ideas to life, from concept to commercialization. Revamp out of home with the new Magnum Ice Cream company identity. Work closely with the Global team to step up how our brands show up in Out of Home, implement new tactics for visibility, breakthrough and communication. Consumer Insights: Conduct qualitative and quantitative consumer research to understand triggers and barriers within the club and out-of-home channels. Lead consumer learning initiatives to gather insights and assess the potential of new ideas. Utilize consumer demographic data to identify opportunities and develop an optimal new product mix. Market Analysis: Stay abreast of market trends, competitive landscape, and consumer preferences to inform innovation strategies. Leverage market data and insights to drive strategic decision-making and innovation planning. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, R&D, supply chain, and sales teams to ensure seamless execution of innovation projects. Partner with procurement and supply chain teams to manage capacity, identify contract manufacturers, and pursue import opportunities where relevant. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Strong understanding of market trends, consumer insights, and category dynamics. Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams. Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
