Job Title: Die Setup Technician
Job Description
Responsible for setting up dies, fixtures, or assemblies in accordance with company procedures. This is a developmental role designed to advance associates into maintenance/tool room departments or production coordinator positions. You will lead areas assigned to safely and efficiently set up, adjust, and run jobs assigned to production operators, ensuring the product meets or exceeds company standards and customer expectations.
Responsibilities
Set up dies, fixtures, or assemblies using overhead cranes and forklifts, following MIOSHA standards and company procedures.
Perform routine setups including die setting/fastening and machine lubrication.
Troubleshoot equipment failures and problems.
Maintain accurate and complete production and quality records.
Utilize tools such as hand-held pliers, wrenches, screwdrivers, and die bars.
Essential Skills
Experience with overhead cranes and forklifts for setting up dies or molds.
Mechanical aptitude.
Press setup and machine setup skills.
Experience in heavy metal stamping environments.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to validate setup through alignment of coil or material, checking perimeters per job, and ensuring die shut height.
Experience with crane operation and change over processes.

Work Environment
Work in a warm environment during the summer, with heating available for the winter. The facility is a heavy metal stamping location with shifts available on the 1st shift from 5:00am - 1:15pm (currently starting at 3:00am due to overtime) and 2nd shift from 1:00pm - 9:00pm (currently ending at 11:00pm due to overtime).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lebanon, Tennessee.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.50/hr.
