Sr. Director, Enterprise Solutions Architect
The Sr. Director, Enterprise Solutions Architect will serve as the strategic leader responsible for overseeing Enterprise Solution Architecture across large, enterprise-wide programs. This role partners closely with Portfolio Executives, Portfolio Leaders, and Enterprise Architects to provide technical leadership across a portfolio of work and complex initiatives. The Sr. Director will manage a team of Enterprise Solution Architects and must be comfortable operating in a highly matrixed environment, driving deliverables independently. This leader applies critical thinking to develop nuanced architectural views tailored to the complexities of the company's existing technology ecosystem, delivering actionable insights that support strategic goals. They will collaborate extensively with internal and external stakeholdersincluding IT, business units, and cross-functional teamsto understand and assess technology requirements, identify potential solutions, and evaluate existing technology investments as a first step. The Sr. Director also plays a key role in developing and implementing new architectural patterns and standards, working in conjunction with teams such as Enterprise Applications & Platforms, Data Delivery & Governance, Security, Legal, Compliance, Infrastructure, and Product Engineering. This position demands a forward-thinking, collaborative leader who can guide architectural strategy and execution in a dynamic healthcare technology environment. Skills and Requirements: 20-25 years of enterprise architecture and solutions experience crossing multiple domains including Business, Information & Data, Application, Technology, and Security Architecture. Experience working in a large Healthcare IT / Architecture environment Accountable for an understanding of enterprise's architecture, ie. MDM products, Integration Engines and ESL, microservices, key platform capabilities, hyperscaler/cloud capabilities Problem solving abilities spanning COTS systems, cloud infrastructure, data and AI Encompassing a broad range of business areas, care delivery settings, including related processes, integration and solution exposure. Product Model and Agile experience preferred (at scale) Familiarity with The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) and architecture modeling tools (e.g. Abacus, IBIS, Orbus iServer, MEGA, LeanIX, etc. Ability to conduct executive level conversations and presentations is required.
