Professional, supervisory, administrative and technical work directing all activities relating to a large water utility company. Some positions may also function as the second in command to a Utility Services Administrator or higher level administrator. Work includes planning, assigning and reviewing the work of lower level managers and may include a staff of professional, technical and clerical employees. Work includes establishing and monitoring management controls for assigned operational area and ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state and local regulations pertaining to Board operations where applicable; and related work as required. Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university. Six (6) years professional salaried administrative experience in stormwater coordination with responsibility for the regulation of Federal, State and local environmental protection laws. At least two (2) years of this experience must have included supervisory responsibilities over employees performing stormwater coordination functions. Current Class Four (4) Wastewater Collection certification issued by the Louisiana Department of Health. Current Class Four (4) Wastewater Treatment certification issued by the Louisiana Department of Health. NOTE:

Domicile requirements are currently waived for the purpose of application. Residency requirements are waived for all Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans positions vacant and advertised for at least 90 days. Employees hired under this waiver remain exempt from the city's residency requirement for the duration of their employment at the Sewerage and Water Board. (La R.S. 33:4076). BACKGROUND CHECK:
