Engineer

who will play a pivotal role in the development and optimization of our reciprocating engine and battery energy storage projects. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team of engineers and project managers to design, implement, and manage power generation projects from conception to commissioning. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of energy innovation and contribute to shaping the future of the industry. You will: Develop and refine scopes of work, RFQs, design specifications, etc. to support engineering project development and front-end engineering conceptual designs Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and controls engineers to develop and enhance engineering design of energy projects, ensuring quality, safety, and timeliness Work with internal and external Engineering teams, vendors, contractors, and construction teams to ensure accuracy and compliance with OEM manuals, design drawings, performance and efficiency curves, safety recommendations, etc. Review and develop engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation Interface with equipment vendors to evaluate technical proposals Develop and refine scopes of work, RFQs, design specifications, etc. to support engineering project development Supervise equipment quality testing, validation, and troubleshooting of OEM equipment, both in factory and field environments Provide technical support throughout all project phasesdevelopment, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning. Manage technical documentation, processes and procedures, and quality standards Problem-solve creatively and investigate ways to improve processes, communication, collaboration, documentation, etc. Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and methodologies in the energy industry What You Bring to the Team: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. 2+ years engineering, construction, and/or testing experience in power generation, transmission & distribution, renewables, oil & gas, industrial operations, or related field Ability to work with computer-aided design and drafting software, i.e. AutoCAD Proven knowledge of low- and medium-voltage electrical infrastructure, apparatus, devices Base-level understanding of power generation, transmission & distribution, renewables, protective relaying, communication protocols, natural gas infrastructure, etc. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and engineering standards relevant to low- and medium-voltage electrical installations (e.g., NEC, NFPA, ISA) and/or oil & gas mechanical installations (e.g., ASME, etc.) Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
