Project Manager - Mechanical Construction
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee mechanical construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget, as well as ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage mechanical construction projects from start to finish
- Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure alignment on project specifications
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines
- Manage contracts and ensure compliance with all contractual obligations
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
- Facilitate team meetings and maintain clear communication with stakeholders
- Oversee quality control throughout the project lifecycle
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project
- Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction management
- Proven experience in project management within the mechanical construction sector
- Strong knowledge of scheduling and budgeting techniques
- Experience with contract management and negotiation
- Excellent risk management skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders
- Proficient in project management software and tools
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt to changing situations
