Apprentice Electrician
We are seeking a qualified Apprentice Electrician to join our team for construction projects based in Savannah, Georgia. This position involves assisting the lead electrician with installing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, ensuring that all work complies with relevant codes. The role requires a technical application of electrical principles and safety practices.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation of electrical panels, lighting fixtures, switches, outlets, and wiring in equipment.
- Perform rough-ins and finals for conduit and MC cable installations.
- Conduct start-up and energizing procedures for equipment.
- Work on fire systems and focus on common areas such as the main floor, basement work areas for employees, hallways, stairwells, restaurants, and rooftop bars.
- Provide necessary tools including knife, pliers, screwdrivers, voltage meter, tool pouch, and others as listed.
Essential Skills:
- Minimum of 2+ years experience with commercial electrical work, preferably with hotel experience.
- Experience with running MC cable and pulling cable.
- Proficient in installing lighting, panels, switches, and outlets.
- Knowledge of electrical codes and blueprint reading.
- Ability to use all necessary electrical tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Troubleshooting, conduit bending, repair, and electrical wiring skills.
- Experience with switchgear.
- All training, education, and certifications will be considered.

Work Environment:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Savannah, Georgia.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00/hr.
