Maintenance Mechanic
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to repair and maintain machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. The role involves working with various machinery including pumps, motors, filling and packaging equipment, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintain machinery and equipment such as pumps, motors, filling and packaging equipment, conveyors, palletizers, piping, valves, tanks, agitators, drives, gearboxes, and utilities.
- Use a range of tools from common hand and power tools to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices.
- Perform inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
- Work with filling line operators to efficiently change over line equipment for different label, container, and packaging sizes.
- Improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) on the filling lines by analyzing OEE data and implementing Lean Manufacturing tools to reduce downtime.
- Maintain all operating equipment in satisfactory condition and schedule needed repairs to minimize operational interference.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment in a timely and efficient manner.
- Comply with company safety rules and procedures.
- Complete daily and shift clean-up tasks.
- Communicate results, concerns, and issues with supervisors and co-workers, ensuring complete shift-to-shift hand-off.
- Support and complete small capital projects.
Essential Skills:
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills.
- Ability to operate machinery and perform calibrations.
- Strong problem-solving skills in a team environment.
- Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds.
- Willingness to work overtime as required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with industrial machinery, gearboxes, and motors.
- Ability to accurately enter and retrieve computer data.
- Active participation in Continuous Improvement Process.

Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $62000.00 - $74000.00/yr.
