• Travel: As required to repair pumping equipment on work sites and district shops to assist in maintaining equipment.

Job Description Summary: This position supports mechanics in diesel automotive repair shops by assisting with repairs and maintenance tasks. It offers an excellent starting point for new mechanics to learn repair and maintenance processes under supervision.

Required Qualifications

• +1 year of automotive maintenance/mechanical experience
• Experience with basic hand, power tools, and equipment
• Own basic hand tools
• Proficient in gasoline engine mechanics and preventative maintenance
• Valid Driver's License (non-CDL)
• Ability to operate a manual transmission

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, technical college, or military technical experience
• Cryogenics exposure/experience
• Hydraulics exposure/experience
• Class A CDL with HazMat; DOT brake certification preferred (not required)
