TICO is hiring Mechanics, All Skill Levels / All Shifts at our site in Charleston, S.C. This position typically involves an 8-hour shift with occasional overtime. Responsibilities

• Conduct safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
• Perform inspection, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, A/C, steering, cooling, DEF, brake, and air systems on vehicles and equipment.
• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance services.
• Utilize computer diagnostic systems to interpret failure modes and initiate or assign repairs.
• Complete paperwork using fleet maintenance software, documenting parts usage and repair times.
• Review, complete, or assign repairs.
• Perform maintenance-related work as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with standards.
• Follow safety procedures during all work activities.
• Communicate effectively about repairs or tasks needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Ideal Candidate

Possesses preferably 2+ years of experience in:

• Heavy truck repair
• Heavy, medium-duty, or farm equipment repair
• Forklift or construction equipment repair
• Automotive maintenance and repair
• Completion of a diesel or automotive tech program

Good attitude, willingness to learn, and a strong work ethic are preferred qualities. Must maintain your own tool set (company-provided tools available).
