Scada Support Specialist

Selectek is seeking direct-hire candidates to fill a SCADA Support Specialist role with a partnering company in eastern Atlanta, Georgia. The firm is looking for candidates to provide SCADA systems support in the electrical distribution and transmission space.

Employment Type: Contract Expected Pay Range: $50.00 to $75.00 hourly rate, depending on experience and certification Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, OR Computer Engineering
• 1-3 years of experience in utility environment using communications protocol between IEDs
• Understanding of SCADA and how to troubleshoot/operate for metering and power.
• Experience with DNP3.0 and Modbus communication protocols

In addition to these requirements, candidates must hold United States citizenship, per the client's request. Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation

Job Details:

• Provide technical support to all System Control Centers and commissioning agents
• Assist with technical phase of installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing of distribution, generation, and transmission facilities
• Assist commissioning agents in operation and maintenance of Energy Control System, including RTUs, Data Concentrators, and IEDs that provide status inputs to energy management systems.
• Assist Metering Engineers in operation and maintenance of revenue metering system.
