The Part-Time Admissions Processing Assistant provides administrative and clerical support to the Admissions Office. This position is responsible for assisting with the processing of admissions materials, maintaining accurate student records, and ensuring effective communication with prospective students and their families. The individual in this role must demonstrate professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets). Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Customer service experience preferred. Working Conditions Standard office environment with frequent interaction with students, parents, staff, and the public. Part-time schedule; hours may vary based on departmental needs. Major Responsibilities/Duties
Answer and route incoming phone calls; provide information and assistance regarding admissions processes. Scan, file, and organize sensitive documents with accuracy and confidentiality. Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries received via email from prospective students and parents. Utilize the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to record, track, and manage student information. Perform administrative tasks using Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word/Docs, and Excel/Sheets. Assemble and distribute admissions packets, inquiry materials, and welcome information to prospective students. Maintain office organization and ensure a professional and orderly workspace. Collaborate with admissions staff to support departmental goals and initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned.

Definition.
A part-time adjunct faculty member is employed at less than 75% time annually and teaches at least one credit hour or more.
A part-time staff member is employed at less that 75% time annually. The employment time is three continuous months at an average of 15 hours a week.
Student hourly employees are exempt from the part-time privileges of this policy.
Privileges.
Upon authorization by the hiring department, part-time employees as defined under this policy will be issued a Snow College Part-Time Staff/Faculty Identification Card at the time of hire. The card entitles the holder to all of the privileges associated with a Full-Time Staff/Faculty Identification Card including, but not necessarily limited to, general admission or discounted prices for athletic and cultural events; Snow College library card issuance; computer network, Web, and e-mail access; bookstore sponsored discounts; and other discounts associated with the ID card at either campus. Supervisors have the right to terminate the privileges at any time during the fiscal year.
Non-inherent Privileges.
Privileges of full-time employees such as, but not necessarily limited to, college parties or gatherings, professional development activities, office/computer/telephone access, current expense budgets may be provided to part-time employees only at department discretion.
