Position: Desktop Technician

Location: Costa Mesa California 92626

Duration: Long Term contract

Shift 3pm - 12 Midnight

Pay rate $26.37/hr on w2

Work Location:

- Below is the main address , however, for this role candidates will work at different sites depending on the project.

- They will only work at one site per day.

- Some of the sites may be outside of but within a reasonable distance.

Job Descriptio

you will perform activities associated with PC and Printer refresh. Installing and diagnosing computer-related products, including but not limited to desktop & laptop computers, printers, network devices, standard software, and low-end servers at customer sites, and/or depot locations.

You will be directed by Help Desk, Service Desk, or script using standard methods, techniques, and tools. You will also apply personal knowledge to resolve product support issues that could not be addressed by service desk. Your assignments will range in complexity from troubleshooting and repairs to reloading and re-imaging of PCs/laptops.

Responsibilties:

You will be working in the deployment services

Supporting the implementation and rollout of new applications or infrastructure

Activities may include:

- Hardware or software procurement

- Configuration

- Tuning

- Staging

- Installation

- Interoperability testing

Provides support for software, hardware and networking support for desktops, laptops and servers.

Performs installs, moves, adds and changes as required.

Tests and certifies PCs, networks, servers and client approved applications.

Provides follow-up on problems or escalation

Maintains a high degree of professionalism in actions, demeanor and dress. Insures customer satisfaction throughout the service delivery transaction.

Ensures client specific Service Level Agreements are met and incident and request tickets are updated accordingly within the ticketing system.
